Correct Placement Of The Rear Hand

By placing the rear hand in this position, you take advantage of many areas:

  • Easy to see incoming strikes
  • Easy to Block / Parry / Deflect incoming jabs / crosses
  • Peripheral vision is NOT obstructed
  • It is closer to the opponent – therefore quicker to land
  • The structural alignment makes it very strong.
  • Easy to cover hooks

You MUST remember to keep your chins tucked behind your front shoulder!

If you try this for 5 mins and then say it does not work – after doing it different for years – stop being silly.

I make no excuse for this being a learned skill!
